All of you attending both the ceremony and the wedding reception know Jordon and Bassam. However, Jordon is the only person who calls him Bass, and he’s the only person who calls him Jordie. So, if you hear these names during the ceremony or the reception, we promise you’re at the right wedding. Now, let’s get to the story!

New York City is one of the most populous, hectic, and busy places in the world. For some reason, New Yorkers seem to always run into the same people because of our routines and where we live.

The story between Bassam and Jordan is likely one of the most ironic tales of how love can blossom. They never saw each other out, never passed each other on the street and did not even have any mutual friends well one who introduced them one evening out and ironically enough everyone lived on 30th street just between 11th and 9th avenue!


Who knew that true love was only one city block away from each other. Their connection was instant. Most would say it’s crazy that within only 3 months they not only went on a European vacation but moved in with each other. It’s a just as crazy as living on the same city block from one another only a 5 minutes walk away!


Life can be hard, funny, sad, disappointing, and sometimes pure joy! When you find that one person that gives you more pure joy than anything else in this world, you know you have found that one special person to share life’s journey.


They traveled the world together, with trips to Amsterdam, Miami, Paris, Mykonos , Rome, Cabo San Lucas, and Sicily where at the San Domenico Taormina Castle at the Four Seasons (AKA the White Lotus) one year later Jordon proposed. Bassam’s YES also included, you have really out done yourself with this one!


The life that Jordon and Bassam now have together is something magical and something that most people dream of and what makes everything so magical is their true love for each other. Jordon always tells May, Bassam’s sister, and all of their friends one for the most important parts to loving, caring, and meaningful relationships is what makes Jordon happy and that is when he sees his partner happy. Many know the phrase “Happy Wife Happy Life”. This is a phrase Jordon stands firmly behind because as he tells Bassam almost daily when I see you happy that makes me the most happy man in this world. Bassam brings more joy and happiness to Jordon that he ever thought could exist in this world. They both are completely supportive and empathetic of one another. A crazy love story that all started on 30th Street just between 9th and 10th Avenues in NYC!


Both Jordon and Basssam want to thank all of our friends and family for joining us on this special night and celebrating not just love out for one another but to ring in the New Year 2026 with family and friends!
